Body Board - Standard
A bodyboard sized for everyday use in Lagos and the Algarve. Standard bodyboards work well for beginners and casual riders getting a feel for the wave, or for anyone wanting a low-commitment way to spend an hour in the water. They're forgiving to learn on and easy to carry.
Size is measured from your chin to your knees when standing. Choose a board that reaches roughly your belly button for a good starting point, then adjust up if you're heavier or taller, down if you're smaller. The rental staff can help you pick the right fit for your weight and experience when you come in.
Bodyboards are durable and fun on small beach breaks. They suit the summer waves at Meia Praia and Porto de Mos, or bigger autumn and winter swells if you're comfortable in the water.
- Swap your board for a different shape any time during the rental, free of charge.
- If conditions are unsafe to surf at all, we extend your rental or refund the unused days.
- Roof straps for a hire car are free to borrow, against a small refundable deposit.
- At pickup we hold a passport, ID card or driving licence, or a cash deposit.
